Ways to Gain Free Valuable Traffic to Your Website with Little or No Budget

Everybody wants traffic but what to do to get that traffic if you have no advertising budget. I’m not talking about bringing just anyone. I am talking about a target audience that is specifically going to your website because they show a genuine interest in what it is you have to offer.

There are so many ways to gain prominence if you just stop and think about it for a while. Using paid ad words is ok but why pay at all? Here is a list of my top methods that I use to gain traffic to my websites.

Start A Blog:

What is your business about? In everyday life you talk to your friends, your coworkers or in a social gathering about what you are so passionate about. Why not expand on that passion and write about it. I’m sure you have so many ideas bottled up inside that you have to talk about it. A blog is the perfect place to ramble on and on about your business ideas.

Let everyone know about your blog. Talk to your friends, your family, coworkers and just about anyone you come into contact with. Word of mouth can be a powerful method.

Here are some ways you can spread the news.

Create an e-mail signature.

Sample:

Donald B. Dousharm is the author of Your Blog Name at www yourblogname com offering expertise in traffic generation with no advertising budget.

Load something like that in your e-mail client’s signature file and everyone you correspond with will get that information. They now have that information. Just think for a moment and imagine if someone you know mentioned to you, hey I am looking to gain traffic to this great website but I don’t have much money to put into it.

Bingo!

I know this site that just may be able to help you with your needs. Get It? Word of mouth people, that’s what it’s all about. Now take that potential prospect and build a relationship.

Social Networking:

This is one I have just recently started to explore and am finding out ways to build many new contacts. I would like to go into more details on this one but as I just said I am new to social networking and am just beginning to scratch the surface.

I can give you a list of social networking sites that I have joined and am having success with. Perhaps down the road as I learn more I will write about the ins and outs that I have learned. Until then, here is a list of social network sites that I have joined.

FaceBook

Until recently FaceBook was geared towards collage students and big business. I am finding that more and more are getting in on the craze. You can build a business profile that will help you gain targeted traffic to your business website. Communicate and connect with other FaceBook business profiles.

Apsense

This one is based on business. I have just recently joined with Apsense and am finding them to be very productive. They have an array of tools that are quite easy to use and I am finding that the people are eager to make contact with you. You can also make some money for building a client base. This is a great concept. Make money for building your clientele. Isn’t that why you are there to begin with? This is a win, win situation.

Yahoo Groups

This is undoubtedly my best success to date. I could write about this all day but we will leave that for another topic. Let me give you a brief summery of the potential traffic gain with yahoo groups.

There are two ways you can use Yahoo Groups to your advantage. The first one is to join groups that relate to your business and get involved in discussions with others on topics that interest you. Like with all groups and there are many. For example; Google Groups, Msn Groups and many others you can involve yourself with. If this is something that interests you, you can gain popularity through using their network.

The second way is to start your own group. Become the Moderator and Owner. One way I have found is you have the freedom to build your group around your business and you control who joins your group. This is a powerful source for Social Networking. One of the best things I have found is Yahoo lists discussions from the groups in the search engines. The same is true with Google and MSN. The reason I like Yahoo Groups the best is the ease of use. The others work fine but Yahoo is the best in my eyes.

You see there are many ways to build free traffic to your website. It just takes a little reasoning and a lot of time. You don’t need a ton of money to build a client base. Just be smart about what you are doing and you will build, have success and thrive in Network Marketing.
